Who I Am
Hi! I’m Sam, a therapist for people who are painfully self-aware but still somehow stuck in the same cycles. If your brain is constantly narrating, analyzing, predicting, catastrophizing, or questioning every interaction you’ve ever had, welcome — you’re in the right place. I work with people who feel exhausted by their own thoughts, who are burning out from being “the reliable one,” and who are ready to feel more stable and less like they're fighting their nervous system every day.
My style is a mix of warmth, curiosity, honesty, and “okay, let’s figure out what’s actually going on here.” I use CBT, ACT, and parts-informed work to help you understand your patterns in a way that actually feels empowering, not overwhelming. I’m direct without being harsh, validating without sugarcoating, and committed to giving you tools that work in real life — not just in a therapy worksheet.
Outside of sessions, I love a quiet moment near the water, sarcastic humor, good food and coffee, and trying to balance ambition with actually resting — just like everyone else. I don’t pretend to have life perfectly figured out; I just know that change is possible when you have someone who supports you, challenges you, and helps you make sense of your own internal chaos. If you're looking for therapy that’s human, collaborative, and truly helpful — I’d love to meet you.
